Sourdough Session with Tim Maddams & The Real Bread Campaign

Bowland Food Hall, Clitheroe will play host to an exclusive sourdough baking masterclass with Tim Maddams – private chef, writer, cookery teacher and presenter – using ESSE range cookers.

The event is being held in support of The Real Bread Campaign’s Sourdough September. Launched in 2008, the Campaign aims to celebrate – and encourage – people visiting small, independent, local bakeries, and to bake their own additive-free loaves at home.

Friend of ESSE Tim Maddams works as a private chef in Devon and has cooked alongside Marco Pierre White and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. You may recognise him from the Channel 4 River Cottage Series, Hugh’s Fish Fight and Sunday Brunch, to name a few television programmes he has appeared on. As well as leading the baking masterclass, Tim will be available to sign recipe books and chat to fans.
