of a solid block of polished stone.

But appearances can be deceptive. The Optica is made from a lightweight composite material of glass reinforced concrete which is moulded to form a hollow case that is fitted around the Firewall engine. The end result is a finish that looks and feels like polished stone but is considerably lighter, enabling you to wall mount an Optica Firewall easily without the need to reinforce the fixings.

The simple geometric shape and bold proportions of the Optica surround provide a beautifully simple frame for the fire which together create a stunning flueless wall fire that, like all Firewalls, can be located virtually anywhere.
